SERIOUSLY? Secret’s PR head complains about people writing horrible things without accountability

Originally posted on PandoDaily:

Sarah Jane Sacchetti, the head of communications for anonymous libel app Secret (who previously held the same job at teen suicide encourager, Formspring) has responded to my post about how her boss doesn’t care if teens kill themselves because of their app.

Did she express any concern for Secret’s users?

Did she pledge that the company will take steps to protect teenagers from cyberbullying?

Rather — and I swear I’m not making this up — Sacchetti complained that she is “always taken aback when people write horrible things without talking to the people they target”.

Their investors must be just glowing with pride tonight.

My dad and I at graduation, Ft. Jackson, South Carolina. July 2, 2014

Dear Readers, first I would like to thank you for making last month such a success for Mysterious Heartland – In June, our website received 339,931 views! 77,764 on June 19th alone. That is by far a record month! It is even more surprising because of what I’m about to tell you. Some of my friends already know this, but I have been gone for the past ten weeks. Most of the posts at Mysterious Heartland for the past two months were scheduled in advance. Why, you ask? Because of my new career.

You see, earlier this year, I decided to finally pursue one of my lifelong dreams and joined the US Army. I left for Basic Training at Ft. Jackson in Columbia, SC at the end of April and graduated last Wednesday. I entered the Army…

Enter Knockout Trivia at:

In Knockout Trivia, your objective is to outlast your fellow players answering trivia questions.  For each question, you’re provided with four answers to choose from.  Choose the right answer and you’ll move on to the next round…or get knocked out with a wrong one. Be the last player standing to win 80% of the Zackpot (20% goes to the runner-up or is shared if multiple runner-ups).  Play for just one TCredit per contest.  No purchase necessary to win. 24 or more exciting games daily.

Because players could otherwise find the answer with a quick Internet search, you’ll have only about 12 seconds (on average) from the time the question is revealed until answers can no longer be accepted.  So be ready to play when the game starts…and keep distractions to a minimum.

Every player is provided with three…
